I’ve created Twitter, Facebook & LinkedIn accounts for multiple clients to establish them as experts in their field by aggregating and housing market-specific content. Seventy-seven percent of smartphone users cited search engines as the most visited sites on their mobile devices, according to “The Mobile Movement,” a new study with Google and OTX MediaCT. Other findings cited 95% of smartphone users have looked for local information, with 88% of those users taking action in that same day. So what can be learned from these stats?

  • Make sure your website is findable in mobile search.
  • Make it easy for mobile searchers to take action—provide a phone number or map to your nearest location.
  • Consider offering time-sensitive promotions to prompt action.
